Following a comprehensive recruitment process and as part of our strategic Board succession plan, we have recruited three new Non-Executive Directors to join our Board:
Alan Shaoul
Alan has worked extensively in the infrastructure, real estate, and maritime sectors. He is currently Chief Financial Officer of DP World's UK's container ports and real estate business. Alan was instrumental in setting up the Thames Freeport as a partnership with the Local Authorities to support growth and re-generation along the Thames Estuary.
He previously worked at Ernst & Young in Corporate Finance advisory roles and was Treasury Director at Together Money.
Barbara Taeed
Barbara has taken on the role of Chair of our Audit and Risk Committee. With more than 30 years in Financial Services, she has held roles in commercial and consumer banking in Barclays and in not-for-profit, working at the heart of the banking systems, steering the cyber security and integrity agenda across the sector in the public interest.
Barbara leads an academic Think Tank focusing on non-financial value and the use of emerging technologies including AI, crypto and the Metaverse. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Hinckley and Rugby Building Society and a Trustee for MK-Act, women’s aid refuge and services in Milton.
Rebecca Pritchard
Rebecca is taking over the role of Chair of our Treasury and Finance Committee. She has extensive experience in the financial services sector, with a career spanning corporate banking and project finance at Chase Manhattan Bank, financial advisory partner at business advisers Grant Thornton, and an Executive role at Triodos, Europe’s leading sustainable bank.
Since 2020, Rebecca has applied her skills and knowledge of banking, finance, and treasury management in Non-Executive Director roles to help scale up purpose-led companies and organisations tackling inequalities in health and access to finance.
